Room Rental Policies
The rental fee for the Olive Branch Express Café inside of Spice Village is $250.00 for three hours (10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
A $50.00 deposit is required to reserve a guest’s preferred day/time. The deposit is non-refundable, but will be credited toward the guest’s rental fee upon invoicing of the event, so long as premises are returned in satisfactory condition as described herein. If the guest cancels his reservation, the deposit will be returned only if the Olive Branch Express Café is able to re-sell that day/time slot.
The space rented includes the seating area of the café located behind the pillars, leaving the walkway free for Spice Village customers. The use of the kitchen, the display refrigerator or product tables is not included in the rental, except as needed by The Olive Branch catering service. Nothing may be removed from the walls, product tables or refrigerators, or taped to any painted surface. Guests may bring their own table decorations, balloons, etc.
The guest will be responsible for all set-up and clean-up. The Olive Branch will not provide any services or products, including ice, paper goods or serving utensils. Tables and chairs can be re-arranged by the guest and MUST be put back by the end of the rental time. The guest must also sweep, bag all trash, and remove it to the dumpster located at the corner of 3rd and Mary. No trash or food may be left in the space. If the space is vacated by the end of the rental period and is left satisfactorily clean, the $50.00 deposit will be credited to the guest. If the space is not left in satisfactory condition, additional charges may be assessed.
DISCOUNT FOR OLIVE BRANCH BAKERY & CAFÉ CATERING CUSTOMERS
If a guest wishes to contract with the Olive Branch Bakery and Café (the “Olive Branch”) to cater the event at the Olive Branch Express Café inside of Spice Village, the rental fee will be reduced to $100.00 for three hours. (10:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.) The Olive Branch will provide menus that are specially created for showers and events. The food can be picked up at The Olive Branch 30 minutes prior to the rental time slot. It will be packaged in disposable containers suitable for serving in and will include plastic serving utensils. An Olive Branch employee can be available to help serve/refill at an additional cost.
Catering services do not include set-up or clean-up. The guest must put tables back the way they were found, sweep, bag all trash, and remove it to the dumpster located at the corner of 3rd and Mary.
